It used to be that every separate building on a lot would have to be on the same foundation level. This is new with the update for the Get Famous expansion. Buildings Can Have Different Foundation Heights How can I blend this smaller roof with the roof that’ll go on top of the rest of the house? I’ll tell you how: hold shift to adjust one of the eaves at a time:Īnd then hold the alt key for more fidelity while adjusting the roof’s pitch. This house looks like it’s off to a good start, but by placing that half gabled roof down, I’ve made myself a fun logic puzzle for finishing the roof. If you’re using a gabled roof, it has these little flaps that hang over the edge of the house. One huge annoyance I used to have with putting roofs on a Sims house was eaves. Roof pieces never seem to fit together in the way you want, leaving you with a roof that should not be seen by man. There Are A Few Hidden Options For Roofing

I can't think of a suppurating psychic wound I'd rather spend my time in. It's the perfect cyberpunk setting: grimy, dank, and claustrophobic, soundtracked by the thrum of distant machines, and always, always raining. Josh Wolens, News Writer: Dragonfall is my favourite Shadowrun game, but Hong Kong's take on Kowloon Walled City is a triumph. It's a great magical cyberpunk yarn, but just as great as a story about cities, and how they-and the people living in them-can become victims of the machinations of the wealthy and powerful. Hong Kong, and especially the Walled City, are messy, chaotic and feel even more alive thanks to the magic that alters them in ways both subtle and significant. Robin Valentine, Print Editor: The excellent Shadowrun: Dragonfall has been in our list for a few years now, but I definitely prefer Hong Kong for its brilliantly evocative setting.įraser Brown, Online Editor: I've got a big soft spot for urban fantasy, and Shadowrun: Hong Kong does it a lot better than most. They're one of the best RPG parties around. Your whole crew is made of misfits, including a rat-spirit shaman who treats garbage like gourmet. Bringing him along on heists and infiltrations means fast-talking guards and civilians to convince them he's an actor or a cosplayer. Jody: One recruitable companion in this cyberpunk-fantasy RPG is a Japanese ghoul samurai. There are four modes of play available: Grand Prix, in which you race through a succession of tracks in the 50cc (karts only), 100cc (bikes only), and 150cc (karts and bikes) cups Time Trial, in which you compete against ghost replays to see who can finish in the shortest amount of time Versus, in which you race against opponents on a single track and Battle, in which you compete against your opponents by either striking them with weapons or collecting coins. Races have also been expanded to accommodate up to 12 participants. Stunts in the air can also be performed to get turbo boosts. It can be set to Manual, where players must push a button to drift, or Automatic, which is triggered automatically on bends but does not give a turbo boost. Drifting has been simplified, and players only receive a turbo boost based on how successfully they do the drift. Each character class has six variations to choose from, four new characters, and the ability to drive with your Mii-finally, 16 unique tunes and 16 returns from previous games. In addition to karts, players can now race on motorcycles, which can perform wheelies but are lighter and cannot supercharge. There have been several additions to the series. Mario Kart Wii is an entry of the long-running Mario Kart series, but this time for the Nintendo Wii, in which you take control of various Nintendo characters to race across several circuits and win the Grand Prix, aided by a range of vehicles and items scattered throughout the track. Now, let's talk about the story for Diner Dash: Home Town Hero. In fact, one of the scenes in the game looks so real that my Diner Dash buddies were like, did Flo just stare off into the distance like that, or was she really do that? The background music for the Diner Dash games is also quite nice, especially the ones that have been remixed by famous artists. The game is colorful, has plenty of graphics for the casual and really drawn-out for the hardcore Diner Dash fan. Diner Dash: Hometown Hero is a new mobile game from Diner Dash: Flo and Friends on the App Store that lets you relive the glory days of the Diner Dash diner and help Flo get back on track as she tries to run the diner and make it into a successful business. |
